Procter & Gamble’s revenue from United States has remained relatively flat for the last five years revolving somewhere around 27 Billion US dollars. US is the largest market and Walmart the sole largest customer for Procter & Gamble. US accounted for nearly 41% of the entire sales of P&G in 2018. The company earned 27.3 Billion US dollars in revenue from US which was the same as last year.

Procter & Gamble was incorporated in Ohio in 1905. However, the original business upon which P&G was built was founded in 1837 by William Procter and James Gamble. P&G offers a large range of consumer packaged goods. Today, its products sell across more than 180 countries and territories. The company operates across five reportable segments that include Beauty; Grooming; Health Care; Fabric & Home Care and Baby, Feminine & Family Care. The largest segment among these is fabric and homeware followed by Baby, Feminine and Family Care. Its largest market is united States which accounts for 41%  of its net sales. P&G also spends a large sum on Research and development as well as marketing every year.  The brand has focused its business on 65 brands across 10 product categories.
