The following table shows the number of Ipads Apple has sold each year between 2010 and 2018. The number of units are in thousands.

The number of Ipad units that  Apple sold in 2018 slid to 43.54 million units from 43.75 million units the past year.

About iPad:-

iPad is Apple’s line of multi-purpose tablets which operate on its iOS operating system. Its line of tablets includes iPad Pro ® , iPad and iPad mini® . iPad includes Siri, Apple Pay and Touch ID. In March 2018, Apple released a new 9.7-inch iPad, compatible with Apple Pencil®. In October 2018, it introduced another new version of iPad Pro as well as a new Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard Folio™. The new 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models have a Liquid Retina LCD display in an all-screen aluminium and glass design and integrate Face ID. iPad is compatible with the iTunes Store, App Store, Book Store and Apple Music for purchasing, organizing and playing digital content and apps.
